Against the backdrop of growing scientific evidence surrounding the 1.5°C target, as well as evolving policies and market expectations, physical and transition risks associated with climate change are no longer challenges for the distant future but are ongoing current topics. Roadmap Development & Net-Zero Initiative Assessment

We support companies in developing new climate transition roadmaps or assessing existing net-zero initiatives. Our approach integrates a range of factors, including current externalities, scenario analysis based on frameworks such as TCFD, potential impacts on your business, and the interplay between changes to the business model and their implications under different climate scenarios.

Transition Plan Development

We develop decarbonization transition strategies using ACT (Accelerate Climate Transition)*, an internationally recognized methodology developed by the global environmental nonprofit CDP and France’s environmental agency ADEME. The ACT Step by Step (ACT-S) program follows a five-step approach to transition planning: assessing the current state, identifying challenges, developing a vision, formulating a strategy, and developing an action plan.

*Codo Advisory is the first consulting firm in Japan to be certified under the ACT initiative led by CDP and ADEME.

TCFD Advisory

We support companies in advancing and enhancing their TCFD-related disclosures, including the establishment and review of governance structures, development and review of climate commitments, assessment of climate-related risks and opportunities, and quantification of financial impacts. We also support companies in addressing the relevant requirements of the SSBJ standards.
